This year, the 26th annual Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade will feature performances by The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest co-hosting the event.The parade’s theme this year is “Seasons of Giving,” which corresponds to Disney’s “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” campaign in which Disney will celebrate volunteerism by giving a free, one-day admission to a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park to 1 million people in the United States and Canada who perform volunteer service with a participating organization starting January 1, 2010.The two-hour televised special will air nationally in High-definition December 25 on ABC-TV at 10 am ET/ 9 am PT.

Jonas Brothers Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade Taping

The Jonas Brothers performed at Walt Disney World yesterday, Sunday, December 6th for the Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping. The parade is set to air on Christmas Day.

So far both Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez have filmed their parts for the parade too!

Jonas Brothers to sing Sunday at Disney World for Parade Taping

Thousands of ticketholders who hoped to see Jonas Brothers perform in the Magic Kingdom for the 2009 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taping today will have to wait a couple more days. The trio made an appearance for interviews but Friday’s rain kept them from singing “Summertime Anthem,” which is featured on the new CD All Wrapped Up: Vol. 2.

Instead, Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas will be back Sunday to give it another shot when there is little chance of weather disrupting the taping. Tomorrow’s production schedule — which included spots with host Kelly Ripa, singer Steve Rushton (songs on Hannah Montana: The Movie, G-Force and Santa Buddies: The Legend of Santa Paws soundtracks and The Suite Life on Deck TV show) and the Santa Buddies Golden retriever pups , plus the parade floats — also has been shifted to Sunday.

Pre-selected audience members with e-Tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday are invited to return Sunday and will be allowed to attend the 7 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. call. The park opens at 9 a.m. to the public, and while it is possible that you might be able to see Jonas Brothers without an e-Ticket, you can be sure it will be from a distance. More than 5,000 e-Tickets were distributed for their performance alone, and the raincheck allows even more ticketholders to attend during that time.

JONAS BROTHERS STUNNED BY DEAD SHARK GIFT

The JONAS BROTHERS were left in shock when a fan handed them a dead shark as a gift.
The trio regularly receive armfuls of presents from their devoted teenage followers, but they were taken aback when one female fan handed them a particularly strange item with bite.
Joe Jonas tells Digital Spy, “The craziest thing we’ve ever been given is definitely a dead shark,” while his brother Nick adds, “It wasn’t a real big shark though. It was only a baby shark but they’d preserved it in this tube for us. That was odd. They didn’t even leave a note explaining. It was just, ‘Here’s a dead shark.’”
And Kevin insists they are still baffled by the odd gift: “We’re still trying to figure out how they actually went about buying a dead shark. I mean, is there such website as Buyadeadshark.com?”

Jonas Brothers want Celine Dion duet

US pop trio the Jonas Brothers have revealed that they want to collaborate with Celine Dion.

The family group, who have previously recorded duets with fellow Disney Channel stars Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato, picked out the French-Canadian crooner above all other female pop singers.

“She’s amazing. I like her song ‘A New Day Has Come’ the best. That or the one from Titanic,” Nick Jonas told Digital Spy.

“She’s got the best voice ever,” his brother Kevin added. “Working with a legend like her would be a real honour.”

At 41, Dion is nearly two decades older than the most senior Jonas, but the group denied that this would lead to awkwardness in the recording studio.

“Actually, I think her presence is so incredible and so passionate that it wouldn’t even matter. Her voice and her artistry would just cut through it all,” Kevin said.
